Description
The ginger is one of the oldest drugs used in India and China. The rhizome has a characteristic aromatic smell because of the essential oil, and spicy flavor.
It is said that the zeal which showed Europeans to discover the famous road to India was like searching for the cause of ginger, the most famous spice in the Middle Ages.
Eventually it was Marco Polo who has known the ginger in Europe in the late 13th century.
The dominant tonic
The modern use of ginger launched the 1980, thanks to an accidental scientific discovery which showed that in cases of colds, ginger to reduce nausea.
