What is a fast-acting glucose, and why is it so effective?
Glucose is the primary blood sugar, and the only source of energy for the brain, kidneys, and red blood cells. The Dextrose (D-Glucose) glucose is used by cells for food, and sugar needed by cells for energy. To allow the cells to provide instant energy, glucose must not contain other sugars or fats (except dextrose), because it will delay the absorption of the cells. Because dextrose does not contain other ingredients, has many advantages over food containing sucrose or fructose which does not work so quickly.
