The NOW ® Certified Organic Amber Agave Nectar (Agave nectar) is a natural sweetener in liquid form from the plant Agave. With approximately 1.4 times the sweetness of white sugar, Agave nectar sweetens hygiene coffee, tea, smoothies, sports drinks and other beverages. It has an exotic flavor-containing maple and honey, and is ideal for cereal, pancakes, waffles and other recipes .. The NOW ® Amber Agave Nectar has a low glycemic index does not solidify at room temperature and can be used where needed sugar.
There are 3 main components in Agave Nectar: the simple sugars fructose, glucose (dextrose) and water.
