PRUZAX is an antipruritic cream (face / body) effective in the temporary relief of pruritus ( itch ) of any cause (associated with dermatological, systemic, or paediatric diseases).
PRUZAX cream is corticosteroid free and contains:
Polidocanol - Antipruritic action
Panthenol - Mild Antiflammatory – Moisturizing action
Chamomile extract & a-Bisabolol - Mild antiflammatory action
PRUZAX cream has triple action :
a) Antipruritic,
b) Mild antiflammatory,
c) Mild moisturizing.
PRUZAX cream also restores the normal epidermal barrier function.
PRUZAX cream contains polidocanol. The antipruritic action of a polidocanol containing cream was demonstrated in an open multicentre monitoring survey, conducted in Federal Republic of Germany with the participation of 614 physicians and 1611 patients (among them were 81 children under 6 years old and 140 children aged 6-16 years) with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and other pruritic skin conditions. At the end of the observation period, “troublesome itching was greatly reduced, when 48,90% of patients were free of itching and another 38,70% felt only mild itching”

PRUZAX cream is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pruritus ( itch ) of any cause:
Pruritic skin diseases ( atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, etc )
Urticaria
Pruritus ani ( anal itching – hemorrhoids )
Senile pruritus ( itch of elderly people )
Pruritic paediatric diseases
Uremic pruritus ( renal itching )
Hematologic pruritus
Endocrine pruritus
“Idiopathic” generalized pruritus
Insect bites ( mosquito bites etc )
PRUZAX cream should be applied on the affected area using a gentle massage until it is fully absorbed. Use 2-3 times a day or as frequently needed.
