Artemis Green Tea

Part used: Leaves and shoots. The origin of the use of this plant is lost in the annals of history; however we owe our first written references to this tea to the Chinese. This plant is typical of warm humid climates. Harvesting is done on plants which are at least 4 years old after which they are rapidly dried to prevent fermentation. Out of all the tea varieties, green tea has the largest amount of antioxidant substances. It can be taken at any time of the day, and in summer it can be served cold with a little lemon making it an excellent soft drink. How to use: Place an infusion filter in the cup or glass and pour boiling water over it. Let it brew 5 minutes before drinking. Storage: Keep in a cool dry place, away from strong smells and protected from light.
